Today's word is sculpture. We began the day by being creative with clay. Dinosaurs, Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde, a train track, jewelry and assorted creatures.As students finished their clay play, they picked out an animal pattern to make a paper towel pet on parade.
We ran out of time and I didn't get to read them the Statue of Liberty book.
Off to lunch and then afternoon time for reading, checking out books, getting prizes from the treasure chest for reading five books, and watching a slide show of the pictures we took on day one and day two.
I made a video of the kids parading to the playground with their pets. Posted soon, I hope.
